The Making Of Harry Potter - Warner Bros Studio Tour

Christmas holidays are over, essays and exams are fortunately over too, and my Italian break from everything is gone! I decided to rest in the past weeks and plan some projects for the blog for this new year!

First of all, though, I want to bring Christmas back to tell you about the Making of Harry Potter at Warner Bros. studios in Watford. I've been wanting to go there for over a year, and visiting it during the Christmas period made it even more special.
Nowadays, we are used to technologies of all kinds, to films which use digital and CGI effects for pretty much everything, and we tend to forget that little bit of magic which cinema has the power to deliver with or without special effects.
This tour proves the huge team work lying behind the scenes of the 8 Harry Potter films. It was extremely fascinating to see the original setting, and the attention to detail, but, particularly, the space each of the films' production areas had: from make up to cinematography, from costume design to set decoration. It was amazing. I selected some of the pictures and I will divide them into four sections: interior sets, exterior sets, the creature shop, and the castle.

And if this winter did not give me the snow, at least Hogwarts did!
